Freeing Your Body isn’t just about moving your body.
It’s also about helping your brain discover how to improve the neurological connections
between the movements of your body and the movements of your mind.

Your plastic brain’s 24/7 job is to constantly analyze every set of connections it uses to see if it’s learning anything that can improve the way its connections work.
By associating the movements you make in class with the attention you give them,
your brain is presented with a multi-dimensional framework of body/mind associations
which it correlates with the functioning of its circuitry.
When it sees the connections can become easier and more efficient,
it reorganizes them instantly.
And your body and mind change.

Freeing Your Body takes advantage of that.

The first Unit, Free Your Body 101, has four Courses:

  • Free Your Head and Neck 101
  • Free Your Shoulders 101
  • Free Your Hips 101
  • Free Your Breath 101

They all start with simple movements, so it’s easy to learn how the rest of your body becomes involved with every movement you make, no matter how small.
The next classes introduce more complexity so you can build on your capacity to move comfortably and notice more about your body’s responses to your movements.

The associations introduced in each class build on the last,
ultimately creating a reliable and reusable template for exploration.

Following that template leads to the discovery of change.

Which is a transferable skill! Over time your brain will learn to adapt this same template to explorations of other life/body/mind functions and make them more efficient too.
